Description

The Unit for Land, Energy, and Climate is part of the Department for Sustainable Development.

The unit works cross-sectorally and coordinates assignments within environmental goal coordination, energy & climate, and the Climate Leap. The County Administrative Board is tasked with leading and coordinating the regional implementation of the national energy and climate policy. This means working on the green transition, developing regional energy planning, and the climate investment support Climate Leap to contribute to strengthened business development, reduced climate impact, improved energy preparedness, and secure energy supply. You will be part of a team that has successfully worked with the county's energy and climate strategy and its implementation through roadmaps and projects.

We are now looking for a strategist in the area of energy and climate.

Responsibilities

The County Administrative Board's assignments come from the annual appropriation letter and the regulation with the County Administrative Board instructions. This means that some assignments remain fixed for long periods while others may be added, changed, or disappear over time. As an employee in the Unit for Land, Energy, and Climate, you need to be curious about new assignments, flexible, and development-oriented.

The position as a strategist will be responsible for the County Administrative Board's work with charging infrastructure and contribute to the work with the transport roadmap. As a strategist, other tasks within the energy and climate strategic work may also arise, especially with activities to more clearly reach target groups.

The work involves many contacts within the County Administrative Board as well as with regional and local actors in Dalarna. Your tasks may develop based on changes in assignments/projects and the expertise you contribute.

Qualifications

Requirements

• We are looking for someone with experience in coordinating the expansion of charging infrastructure and electrification of the transport sector and has worked customer-oriented and target group adapted.
• We prefer that your experience has given you good knowledge to work with coordination, communication, marketing, governance, and evaluation of society's energy systems.
• You have a B driver's license.

Meritorious

• It is meritorious if you have worked in the business sector and have a good understanding of the business needs in the energy and climate transition with a focus on the transport sector.
• Experience in project management and/or change or collaboration management.

Personal qualities

Your ability to be a good representative for the County Administrative Board is central. You are flexible, communicative, self-driven, and have an easy time collaborating with others. We strive for close cooperation within the Unit for Land, Energy, and Climate and the authority as a whole. Therefore, we hope you have a strong interest in sustainable development, particularly in energy and climate issues, and contribute to a good working environment.

Interviews will be conducted continuously during the recruitment process. We apply a 6-month probationary period.
